The primary goal of the water conservation program is to educate the community about the environmental and economic benefits of using water efficiently.

Annual Campaigns

water guy ADWEach spring begins our irrigation campaign that highlights seasonal tips for watering efficiently through fall, and reminds citizens of our year-round watering ordinances. Staff are available to advise homeowners and businesses on using water efficiently and to speak to civic groups.

Fix a Leak Week
The Town's annual Fix a Leak Week campaign occurs in March. In support of the Environmental Protection Agency's national campaign and as a Water Sense partner, the Town encourages everyone to test their toilets for leaks and to repair leaks they find.

Facility Tours
Register for a tour of our water or wastewater treatment plant. Available for fourth grade students and older, our tours are educational and informational.

The Compost Education Center in Bond Park is an excellent resource for those who want to learn about the process, benefits, and ways to compost. Citizens can tour on their own or attend workshops on-site as advertised.
