Residents can recycle computers, televisions, miscellaneous electronics and appliances in our town. electronic recycling

Recycling these items conserves natural resources while keeping hazardous materials out of the landfill. Recycling computers, televisions and appliances is not only good for the environment, it's the law. Since 2011, these items have been banned from all NC landfills. 

Please consider one of the following recycling options:

*An “electronic item” includes a television, monitor or laptop and can be bundled with a cased CPU, keyboard, and mouse.

To keep our community and crews safe, please secure doors on all appliances such as refrigerators and freezers.

Did you know?

In 2000, the Town of Cary became the first in the state to offer curbside collection of computers for recycling.
