Parent Workshop

Join Rosellen Reif, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Qualified Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health Professional for a variety of workshops geared towards parents and/or family members of persons with disabilities.

Avoiding Power Struggles
Learn communication skills to avoid getting into power struggles, plus tips for coping if you wind up in a battle with your child.

Halloween Family Fun Night (all ages) NEW!

Join us on the beach at Bond Park Boathouse for fireside pumpkin carving.  We will carve Halloween-ready jack-o lanterns, before ending with s’mores around the fire.

Campfire Cooking (age 11 & up)

Nothing tastes better then food cooked on an open campfire.  Join us for some simple made-from-scratch campfire treats that are easy to make and delicious to eat.  All materials are provided.

Explore the nature preserve at sunset.  We will call for owls and search for other nocturnal wildlife!

Girls only! Bring your pillow, come in your pajamas, rock out to dance music, and bond with your girlfriends.  Light refreshments will be served.

Learn the basics of what you need to know to survive in the great outdoors.  In this hands-on class, you will learn a range of basic survival skills, including shelter building and fire making.  All equipment provided.
