The Town of Cary has declared a State of Emergency and closed Town Hall and all staffed facilities. Critical services including police, fire, sanitation, water distribution, wastewater, inspections and permits, 911, and 311 will continue uninterrupted. All Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources facilities are now closed and programming, including classes, events, and camps, is canceled until further notice. Facility rentals are canceled as well. This action follows Gov. Roy Cooper's executive order restricting public gatherings to 100 people or fewer, and is taken to encourage social distancing and prioritize the health of Cary's citizens. The Middle Creek Athletic Complex has four 310’ baseball/softball fields. The complex is home to the Town of Cary’s adult softball program and also hosts weekend tournaments March through November. The fields are able to be converted from baseball to softball along with varying base distances from 60’ to 90’.
The complex is home to the Town of Cary’s spring and fall adult softball program and Middle Creek High School Mustang Softball.
Middle Creek along with Thomas Brooks Softball/Baseball Complex is home to the majority of the Wake County Middle School Club Baseball season in the spring.
Middle Creek Softball/Baseball Complex also hosts a variety of college softball events as well as weekend youth and adult tournaments from March - November each year.
Tournament Weekend Rentals begin yearly on the first weekend in March through the weekend before Thanksgiving. Scheduling is completed in November and December prior to the calendar year. A weekend rental request form is needed for rental.

Youth Tournaments and Showcases
Minimum of nine teams needed to host a youth tournament.
- 9-13 Teams: Team fee of $180 per team -- rates range from $1,620 - $2,340
- 14-18 Teams: Team fee of $160 per team -- rates range from $2,240 - $2,880
- 19-22 Teams: Team fee of $140 per team -- rates range from $2,660 - $3,080
- 23+ Teams: Flat rate of $3,000
These rates are based on a two-day tournament (1/2 team rate applies for a single day). For 2 ½-3 day events, staff will customize a rate structure. If the number of teams you have over the weekend varies by day, the day with more teams will determine the rate.
Minimum of five teams needed to host adult tournament.
- 5-19 Teams: rental rate is $1,500
- 20-23 Teams: rental rate is $1,700
- 24+ Teams: rental rate is $1,900
