601 Kildaire Farm Road

This community gathering space is within walking distance of the Cary Arts Center and the Downtown Cary area, including the new Downtown Park. The amenities include a walkway, providing ADA-compliant access into the park, and a small terrace with benches matching those in the Downtown Park. In 2013, the Town moved the large clay fire sculpture originally cased and fired on the Downtown property in 2012, to the park's lawn. It now serves as the park's central feature.

The park, formerly "Meeting Place Park," was recently renamed in honor of 2010 Hometown Spirit Award Winner, Kay Struffolino. She is an active volunteer for the Town of Cary events and programs, especially for (though not limited to) Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources. She has been honored as the Town of Cary Cultural Arts Volunteer of the Year (2006), the Herb Young Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Volunteer of the Year (2001) and the Rayburn “Rip” Jackson North Carolina Citizen of the Year (2008).
