In support of Wake County’s announcement of restrictions designed to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Town of Cary has closed playgrounds effective Monday, March 23 at 8 a.m. until further notice. Greenways, parks, and restrooms within parks will remain open at this time. Downtown Park Fountain

The  recently-completed “Town Square” portion of Cary's Downtown Park is a jewel in the crown of Downtown's revitalization. A true urban park, the new space anchors the corner of South Academy Street and Kildaire Farm Road, across from Cary Arts Center. The centerpiece of the park is a stunning, lighted fountain. Truly a community gathering place, Town Square offers space for musical performances, outdoor movies, recreation, games, public art and simply enjoying the outdoors.
