Cary is currently under a State of Emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most public-facing and staffed facilities are closed to the public, including Town Hall. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cary playgrounds are closed until further notice. Parks, greenways, athletic fields, and courts remain open. Visitors are required to practice social distancing and maintain separation of six feet from other visitors to the park. Learn more. 

The Sertoma Amphitheatre is located between the Kiwanis Picnic Shelter and Bond Lake on a natural site at Fred G. Bond Metro Park. The facility accommodates 350 spectators for outdoor performances. Reservations are available to Cary residents only. Concurrent rental of the Kiwanis Picnic Shelter is included in the rental fee.
