The Senior Center will undergo renovations in March to accommodate a new transit position as well as address facility modifications identified in the ADA Transition Plan.
The project is scheduled to begin March 11 and will be completed in late spring. The spaces being renovated include the administrative offices, customer service, fitness room, and library/computer lab. Additional areas of the facility will be impacted, as the staff work area will be relocated to the ballroom and some space will be used for storage.
Approximately half of the 200 programs and activities have been cancelled with the other half moved to other spaces. Staff is in the process of notifying participants via phone, email, posting flyers around the building and information will be included on the senior center home page. The senior center will remain open for the duration of construction.
