How do I register?

We currently do not offer an online registration. To sign up to play, please stop by the Cary Tennis Park before the registration deadline to fill out the required registration forms.

How do I sign up for a USTA membership?

The USTA offers a free membership for new 10 and under players. To renew an existing membership, go here.

What is the minimum age to play JTT?

It is recommended a child be at least 5 ½ years of age at the start of the season.

Is my child ready to participate in JTT?

An 8 and under player who can make consistent contact with the ball and understand the court boundaries is ready to participate in JTT.

Players who are 9 years or older should be comfortable serving, rallying, and keeping score.

If you feel your child is not ready or they are looking for something between seasons, they should participate in Starter JTT.

What is Starter JTT?

Starter JTT is designed for players who are interested in playing matches, but want to feel more comfortable with match play before they register for JTT. These players have taken beginner level classes and are looking for the next step.

Are parents required to volunteer?

Parents are needed to help organize matches.  They will not be required to coach.

How are practice nights assigned?

You have the option on the registration form to select the night(s) which will work best for your family.  At the beginning of the season, your child will be assigned to a practice night.  Once the season has begun and your child’s practice night has been assigned, your child may only attend practice on that night.

What if my child has to miss a practice or match?

We understand a child may have a conflict during the season and have to miss a practice or match.  However, please note we are not able to offer any makeups for practices or matches missed due to personal reasons.
