Come experience our first annual Cary History Hunt - an architectural scavenger hunt taking place in Downtown Cary! The "Hunt" will be self guided, and is meant for all ages. All you need to do is get the photo card, which can be picked up at Town Hall at the Development Services desk (1st floor), picked up during Lazy Daze at the Page-Walker, downloaded from this webpage, or accessed and filled out online. Once you have your card, it's time to venture out and discover Cary's wonderful historic architecture. The Cary History Hunt can be completed anytime from August 17 - September 1, so don't miss out!
The images on the scavenger hunt card depict details of historic properties that have defined the Cary we know and love - we challenge YOU to find them! The history hunt will take place along S. Academy Street, Dry Avenue, and Chatham Street between Harrison Avenue and S. Walker Street (see map below for boundary).
Record your answers beside each photo for a chance to win one of our great prizes! Prizes include, but are not limited to, tickets to the Chinese Lantern Festival, tickets to The Cary, tickets to the Marvelous Music Series, and a pair of tickets to see Mandolin Orange!
