Volunteers Interacting with Guests

The Greatest Gift You Can Give is Your Time!

Volunteers are critical to the success of Lazy Daze. We have a variety of volunteer needs, including helping artists load in and out, welcoming participants and the public, providing information, assisting with transportation, booth sitting, and more. Whether you want to volunteer all day or for a few hours, there are opportunities to fit every schedule.

Volunteer at the 44th Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival (August 22-23, 2020)

Nearly 300 volunteers are needed to make Lazy Daze a success. The volunteer sign-up will open on Monday, July 6, 2020 and will close on Friday, August 14, 2020.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old unless otherwise noted. Volunteers younger than 16 can volunteer with a parent or guardian at least 18 years of age in certain positions.

First-time volunteers are required to attend a session and returning volunteers are highly encouraged. Training dates will be announced at a later time.

Have questions? Contact Deirdre Lewis, Lazy Daze Volunteer Coordinator, at (919) 462-3847 or by email.
