Volunteers Interacting with Guests

The Greatest Gift You Can Give is Your Time!

Volunteers are critical to the success of Lazy Daze. We have a variety of volunteer needs, including helping artists load in and out, welcoming participants and the public, providing information, assisting with transportation, booth sitting, and more. Whether you want to volunteer all day or for a few hours, there are opportunities to fit every schedule.

Volunteer at the 43rd Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival (August 23-25, 2019)

The Lazy Daze volunteer sign-up will be available on Monday, July 8, 2019. Nearly 300 volunteers are needed to make Lazy Daze a success.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old unless otherwise noted. Volunteers younger than 16 can volunteer with a parent or guardian at least 18 years of age in certain positions.

Volunteer training will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Cary Town Hall. First-time volunteers are required to attend a session and returning volunteers are highly encouraged.
