ShuttlesArrive By Festival Shuttle

The most convenient way to get to Lazy Daze is to take a free shuttle bus from Cary Towne Center or Green Hope High School. Buses depart around the clock starting at 8:30 a.m on Saturday, August 24 and 12 p.m. on Sunday, August 25. The last buses leave the festival at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 24 and 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 25. Wait times may be slightly longer during peak festival hours.

Cary Towne Center Mall is located in east Cary at 1105 Walnut St. and can be reached via Interstate 40 exit 291. 

Follow signs to the Lazy Daze shuttle. Use this shuttle if you live in east Cary, Raleigh or east of Raleigh.

Green Hope High School is located in west Cary at 2500 Carpenter Upchurch Rd. and can be reached via Hwy 55. Follow signs to the Lazy Daze shuttle. Use this shuttle if you live in west Cary, Chapel Hill or Durham.

Arrive By Car (Parking Is Limited)

Parking availability downtown will be limited, so you are encouraged to take advantage of the free festival shuttles. If you drive to the festival, limited parking is available at these locations:

  • In the church parking lot at the corner of Waldo St. and Walker St. in downtown Cary. This lot is located across the street from the First United Methodist Church of Cary.
  • In the church parking lot of First Baptist Church. This lot is accessible from S. Academy St. or S. Harrison Ave. *Not available on Sunday.
  • In the parking lot behind the Cary Arts Center. This lot is accessible by Faculty St.

Are you considering using Uber, Lyft, or another ridesharing service to get to Lazy Daze? We have a safe drop off area within the Fire Department Administration parking lot (located between the railroad tracks)! Drivers can drop you off in our rideshare drop off area and from there you can walk into the festival!

Limited accessible parking will be available in the Fire Department Administration Parking Lot. Because this parking lot is behind festival barricades, to access this lot approach the festival from the south via S. Academy St. or east/west via Chatham St. and indicate you would like access this lot. Availability is first come, first served. Call (919) 469-4061 for more information.
