The Teen Docent Program is a group of high school students who conduct research on the public art in the downtown Cary area, through artist interviews and training sessions, to educate the public on local art by leading monthly tours.

How well do you know Downtown Cary?

Hop on a tour to learn more about the artwork that makes downtown Cary so unique!

Picture2Tours begin at 6:30 p.m. every first Saturday and final Friday of the month. Meet your knowledgeable teen docents at the front steps of the Cary Arts Center and they will take you on a tour of the sculptures on display, offering insights about the art and background about the artists who created the works.

Tours last about 30-45 minutes and cover artwork located near the Cary Arts Center and along Academy Street. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes to walk in.
