Cary Cultural Arts Grant Program
General Funding assistance is made available through Cary's Policy for Support and Sponsorship of Cultural Groups and Activities. For Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21), $169,000 will be allocated for distribution to support Cary-focused Cultural Arts non-profit organizations.
Mandatory Cultural Arts Funding Workshops
Interested applicants must attend one of two mandatory Cultural Arts Funding Workshops:
- Saturday, February 8, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Cary Arts Center
- Tuesday, February 11, 7 - 9 p.m. at the Cary Arts Center
January 27: FY21 Cary Cultural Arts funding application period opens.
February 8 (10 a.m. - 12 p.m.) and February 11 (7 - 9 p.m.): Mandatory Cultural Arts Funding Workshops
February 28: FY21 Cary Cultural Arts funding applications are due by 11:59 p.m.
March 25: Cultural Arts Committee will make recommendations for awarding FY21 funding to cultural organizations.
Early May: Cultural Arts Committee funding recommendations will be communicated to FY21 grant applicants.
Early July: FY21 funding will be available to cultural arts grant recipients.
August 1: FY20 Grant Report form is due.

Applicants must attend a Cary Funding Workshop to be eligible to receive FY21 funding.
