Fiscal Year 2018 Rehabilitation Project

The FY 18 Interceptor Project focuses on rehabilitating sewer interceptors (pipes 15 inches in diameter and larger) that convey wastewater from smaller pipes to pump stations or treatment facilities. The project includes three areas with a total of seven miles of sewer line and 117 manholes. The Town has contracted with North American Pipeline Management, Inc to rehabilitate or repair this infrastructure at a cost of $8.5 million.

The project will begin in summer 2019 and is expected to be completed in fall 2021. We anticipate the work in each project area to take between six and eight months. A more detailed schedule will be posted here in early summer 2019. Properties within the project areas will receive an initial letter in late spring 2019 followed by more detailed correspondence at least two weeks prior to the rehabilitation work commencing in their neighborhood. A door hanger will be left at affected properties at least three days prior to start.
Project updates will be posted to this space as they become available.
