What's Happening Now

Construction Update - January 2020

Carolina Power & Signalization has been selected by Cary and is tentatively scheduled to begin construction the first week of March. The project is estimated to be completed in the middle of April. 

Project Background

Town Council authorized staff to design and upgrade the traffic signal located at Tryon Road and New Waverly Place. Design includes new crosswalks on all approaches, new pedestrian signal heads and flashing yellow arrow signals on Tryon Road. The Capital Project fund is ST 1247. The estimated construction cost for the traffic signal is $150,000.
