NCDOT is working to complete paving along SW Maynard Road from Pond Drive to Kildaire Farm Road before beginning the section from Kildaire Farm to Walnut Street next week.

Paving along SW Maynard Road from High House Road to Castalia Drive is complete. Next week, NCDOT anticipates completing work between Castalia Drive and Pond Drive and beginning work from Pond Drive to Kildaire Farm Road.

Contractors working for the North Carolina Department of Transportation are scheduled to start daytime utility adjustments along Maynard Road between High House Road and Old Apex Road on July 5, 2018. Repaving along this section of Maynard Road is scheduled to start on or after the evening of July 8, 2018. Lane closures will be necessary to complete this work.
The N.C. Department of Transportation plans to resurface most of Maynard Road from N.C. 54/Chapel Hill Road clockwise to High House Road, starting in July. The NCDOT also plans to resurface Chapel Hill Road between NW Maynard Road and Linda Drive and between Weston Parkway and Perimeter Park Drive, as well as Louis Stephens Drive between Morrisville Carpenter Road and McCrimmon Parkway.
A contractor working on behalf of NCDOT will conduct repaving work nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Friday and weekends through winter with occasional weekday utility work. No work will be conducted during peak travel times. NCDOT work is exempt from the Town's noise ordinance.
