Thomas Brooks Park Improvements Project

Project Background

This project provides for drainage improvements and trail repair around the Thomas Brooks Park Baseball Complex, and for the expansion of the batting cages.  Batting cage expansion will allow the cages to serve both baseball and cricket users.

This project also provides funds for a grading and drainage plan for the future addition of sand volleyball courts.

Project Schedule and Cost

This is a multi-year project. $1,500,000 has been appropriated between FY19 and FY20.

  • Winter 2019/2020: Begin Drainage Improvements and Trail Repair
  • Spring 2020: Expand Batting/Cricket Cages
  • Summer 2020: Complete Drainage Improvements and Trail Repair
  • Fall 2020: Complete Grading and Drainage Plan for Sand Volleyball Courts
