Plant a Community Garden

Establish a community garden in your neighborhood. Participants will receive a Best Practices guide, design assistance, a Grow Your Own Food guidebook, seasonal seeds, and access to the Spruce tool-lending library.

Community Garden/Farm Workday

Gather a group from your community and volunteer at one of our monthly community garden open house dates or at the Good Hope Farm’s monthly work days followed by a Q&A garden session with a garden expert.

Participants will receive a potted vegetable or herb to take home.

Teen Challenge

This is a special opportunity for teen Leaders to step up and make a difference in their community and the environment using the power of social media.

To complete this challenge, create a social media campaign that generates awareness of the importance of local food and related topics.
