Tours of our water and wastewater facilities are available year-round, free of charge and customized to the needs and time constraints of the group. The public is invited to tour these facilities by emailing or calling the plants directly.

We strive to process requests within three business days. Please consider the following tour guidelines when requesting a tour:

  • Contact us at least two weeks in advance of your intended tour date.
  • Tours can begin anytime between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.  
  • We ask for a minimum of five participants but exceptions can be made at the discretion of the plant supervisor.
  • Tours are available to fourth-grade students and older.
  • For safety reasons, attendees and siblings younger than 10 are prohibited from participating in the tour.
  • Chaperones are required for groups with children.
  • For safety reasons we recommend close-toed shoes with flat soles.

Please understand that due to inclement weather or unexpected circumstances, your tour may be rescheduled.
