Recent actions by Raleigh/Wake County to help fund Cary’s Community Recreation and Sports Center have generated significant public interest in the actual offerings and uses of the facility that will be located on up to five of the 87 acres of the Cary Towne Center redevelopment site.
Cary has a well-documented history of robust public engagement, and the Community Recreation and Sports Center project will be no exception.
As is detailed in the project schedule below, Cary’s response to Raleigh/Wake’s Request for Proposals is a starting point in the process of determining the Center’s actual offerings as well as its physical design. Public engagement on the Center’s actual design and offerings will begin this summer.
