Holiday Collection Changes
In observance of Veterans Day, Nov. 11, curbside solid waste services for Wednesday and Thursday will be moved one day later through Friday, November 13; the Citizen’s Convenience Center will operate on its regular schedule, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Other Holiday Service Changes

The 311 call center will be closed on Wednesday, but citizens can use to request non-emergency services or information. GoCary fixed route will operate on a normal weekday schedule Wednesday, but Door-to-Door will be Tier I only on Veterans Day.

Old North State Storytelling Festival
Virtual, On Demand, November 6-20
The Old North State Storytelling Festival celebrates the power of the spoken word, presenting eight  storytellers and musical guests on a virtual stage. This year's theme, "Connecting through stories even when we're far apart" highlights how we can keep connected and celebrate together.
