Cary Seeks Public Comment on Potential Downtown Multi-Modal Transit Facility

Post Date:10/08/2020 12:34 PM

Cary, N.C.—The Town of Cary invites residents to explore the feasibility of a new Downtown Cary Multimodal Transit Facility during a public comment period beginning Monday, October 19, 2020. This proposed new facility would provide a convenient and connected hub for local and regional bus service, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), future commuter rail service, and Amtrak intercity passenger rail services. The virtual engagement opportunity will address topics such as: “What is a multimodal center?” and “Why does Cary need one?”  To participate, the public should visit October 19 through October 30.
