Cary Cancels May Events as COVID-19 Response Continues
- All Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources events through May 31 have been canceled.

Cary, NC – As part of its continued effort to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of Cary has canceled all Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources events through May 31. This includes all classes, camps and programs. Full refunds will be issued for any registered camps, classes, facility reservations and ticketed Town events canceled due to COVID-19. For refund assistance, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Decisions about May public meetings, including Town Council and advisory boards and commissions, will be made separately and announced at a later date. Town facilities remain closed through April 30. On Thursday, Wake County announced the extension of its Stay at Home proclamation through the end of April. The order includes new provisions for retail businesses and faith organizations.
