Main Parking Lot for Davis Drive Park to Close First Week of March for Construction

  • Weather permitting, the main parking lot for Davis Drive Park (at Davis Drive and Park Village Drive) will be closed to the public beginning Monday, March 2 through Saturday, March 7 for repaving and repairs. This includes all parking spaces, travel lanes, and drop-off loop.
  • Davis Drive Park itself will maintain normal operating hours for the duration of the work. The playground, shelters, basketball court, soccer fields, restrooms, and loop trail can be accessed from the lot at the south end of the park, off of Davis Drive. Citizens are asked to keep clear of the main lot until work is completed.

Cary, NC – Weather permitting, the main parking lot for Davis Drive Park (at Davis Drive and Park Village Drive) will be closed to the public beginning Monday, March 2 through Saturday, March 7 for repaving and repairs. This includes all parking spaces, travel lanes, and drop-off loop. Citizens are asked to keep clear of the main lot until work is completed. The closure is part of the larger White Oak Creek Greenway initiative, connecting the Wake County section of the American Tobacco Trail to Fred G. Bond Metro Park in Cary.

The park itself will maintain normal operating hours for the duration of the work, though parking will be limited to the smaller southern lot, off of Davis Drive. Signage will be posted in the days leading up to and during the closure to notify citizens and park visitors as to limited parking availability.
