Alerts Bond Park Community Center Renovations
Renovations will take place through January 2020 to provide enhanced wheelchair accessibility. The center will be open, but operations may be modified throughout the renovation period.

Alerts Bond Park Lake Dam Repairs
Renovations will take place on the Bond Lake Dam through March 2020 to mitigate future erosion. White Oak Greenway near Bond Lake is affected; follow posted detour signs. The project is managed by Wake County Government.

Events 9th Annual Gingerbread House Competition
Downtown Cary, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Create a gingerbread house yummy enough for an elf’s visit! These houses will be on display in Downtown Cary on December 7. Winning Houses will be on display during the month of December at the Cary Arts Center. For more, visit Gingerbread House Competition.

Events 8th Annual Gifting Tree Project
Downtown Cary
The streets of Downtown Cary will be filled with wonderfully decorated trees for the public to view and vote for their favorite. Each tree will represent and be decorated by local businesses, organizations, or families. Citizens can vote until December 21 for their favorite tree, with the winner receiving $500 to donate to the charity of their choice. For more, visit Gifting Tree Project.

Events Santa's Workshop
Herbert C. Young Community Center, 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Children 10 and under with a caregiver can enjoy a variety of craft stations and a visit with the white bearded guy from the North Pole!  Please support the Cary Teen Council's food drive by sending each child with two non-perishable food items or a cash donation for admission. Events Victorian Christmas at the Page-Walker
Page-Walker Arts & History Center, 3-6 p.m.
Step into the past and get in the holiday spirit with old-fashioned Christmas fun! The 1868 hotel will be decked out in holiday finery and host the public for hot cider & cookies, traditional music, and everyone' favorite, the carriage rides. Town Hall Campus, 6 p.m.
Welcome in the holiday season with the official Christmas Tree Lighting for the Town of Cary. This festive night features actors, singers, and musicians from the community. We’ll also unveil the Cary Community Christmas Tree inside Town Hall.
