GoCary's Try Transit Week: September 23-27, 2019

  • Try Transit Week features three days for citizens to explore GoCary, which includes Youth and Senior Day, Fare Free Day, and Transit Employee Appreciation Day. 
  • GoCary operates seven days a week: Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sundays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Cary, NC – September 23-27, 2019 is Try Transit Week with GoCary, which encourages  citizens to explore public transportation. The following promotions will be offered to celebrate:

September 23, Youth and Senior Day - Age 18 and under and 60 and over are invited to show their Youth GoPass, GoCary Door to Door ID card, or government issued photo ID at the Cary Depot from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. to claim your free gift.

September 25, Fare Free Day - Everyone can enjoy free rides on any GoCary route, all day long. 

September 27, Transit Employee Appreciation Day - GoCary encourages riders to share their favorite GoCary employee on social media by using #ThanksGoCary. Everyone who uses #ThanksGoCary will be entered in a drawing for a surprise gift.

GoCary operates seven days a week: Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sundays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Using the online trip planner, citizens can ride GoCary to connect to GoTriangle and GoRaleigh, reaching destinations in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill.
