HSEM Adidas XC Challenge
WakeMed Soccer Park, 4:30-7 p.m.
The 2019 Adidas XC Challenge will feature some of the best high school cross country runners in the nation competing at the challenge course at WakeMed Soccer Park. Don't miss out on your chance to come see some of the best high school boys and girls runners from all over the southeast compete!

Films@The Cary: Parallel Love: The Story of a Band Called Luxury
The Cary Theater, 7 p.m.
Luxury drummer, Glenn Black, and bassist, Father Chris Foley will be in attendance for a Q&A after the film. Cary Downtown Farmers Market

It’s Fall, ya’ll!  Visit the Cary Downtown Farmers Market for farm-fresh produce, local goods, and handmade crafts. Enjoy a dose of community and live music as you shop for your favorite autumnal staples such as mums, gourds, and small pumpkins.

Community Garden Open House
Carpenter Park Community Garden, 9-11 a.m.
Explore the Carpenter Park Community Garden while learning what grows best in our region and how you can garden at home. Along with a chance to plant, weed, water, and harvest, this event will include kid-friendly games and a play area, folks on staff to get your gardening questions answered, and more. All ages are welcome, no registration required.
