The program gives Cary citizens an opportunity to properly dispose of those byproducts of home cooking by requesting a special collection. Simply place cooled, used cooking oil and grease in a plastic screw-top container and once at least half-gallon (approximately one, 2-liter soda bottle) is collected, label the container “Used Cooking Oil” and visit services.townofcary.org call (919) 469-4090 to schedule a free curbside pickup.
