Accreditation Assessment Team to Hold Public Information Session on Cary Police Department

  • The public is invited to offer comments on the Cary Police Department at a public information session held July 31 at 6 p.m. in Cary Town Council Chambers.
  • Representatives from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc (CALEA) will host the session as part of its comprehensive assessment of the police department.
  • Anyone who cannot attend may share feedback by telephone from 2-4 p.m. or email on July 31.

Cary, NC – As part of its assessment of the Town of Cary Police Department, the Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. invites the public to comment on any aspect of Cary PD on July 31 at 6 p.m. in Cary Town Council Chambers, 316 N. Academy St. Citizens who cannot attend may share feedback by calling (919) 653-7101 on July 31 from 2-4 p.m. or send an email to dated no later than 11:59 p.m. on July 31, 2019. The reassessment is part of a voluntary process that will allow the Town of Cary Police Department to continue its accreditation with the national organization.
