Cary, NC –Join us at Cary Town Hall on Thursday, March 14 as we unveil the Master Plan for the Downtown Cary Park. From 4-6 p.m. Town of Cary staff and members of the design team will be on-hand at Town Hall to share the inspirational vision for the Downtown Cary Park through the Master Plan diagram, renderings, videos, and a chance to experience the park for yourself in virtual reality. A Cary Town Council meeting will follow the presentation, where a vote will be taken on the Master Plan and funding.

More than 300 people attended the public workshop in July 2018 and more than 1,200 responded to the Phase II survey in the period that followed. In November, around 200 people joined the Town of Cary to discuss key takeaways from the summer workshop and see potential designs and features for the park.

The Town of Cary has hired the Office of James Burnett (OJB Landscape Architecture), an award-winning landscape architecture firm with national urban parks and development experience for this project. Their past project experience includes Klyde Warren Park, Dallas TX, Levy Park in Houston TX, and LeBauer Park, Greensboro, NC.
