Learn the Ins and Outs of Local Government at Cary’s School of Government
- Cary’s annual citizen academy begins April 24 and runs through June 5.
- Applications can be submitted online and are due by Monday, April 8.
- The Cary School of Government is open to Cary citizens and citizens of Cary’s ETJ.
Cary, NC - Cary citizens, and citizens of Cary’s ETJ, interested in learning about the many facets of their local government have through April 8 to apply to be a part of the annual School of Government. The nine-session course gives a behind-the-scenes look at Cary Town government, focusing on topics like community vision, development, utilities, transportation, financial stewardship and municipal services.
Sessions are Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m. from April 24 to June 5; two Saturday morning sessions are scheduled on May 4 and June 1.
