Get 2019 Off on the Right Foot with Cary’s First Walk & Free Fitness Classes

  • Get your New Year’s resolution off on the right foot with the Town of Cary’s New Year, New You: Fitness Kick Off from January 2-8 and take free group exercise classes at Cary’s community centers.
  • Those who attend a group exercise demonstration will receive a 20 percent discount on their Winter/Spring 2018 registration for any group exercise class at a Town of Cary community center.
  • First Walk Cary kicks off January 1 from 10-11 a.m. at the White Oak Greenway. 

Cary, NC -- Get your New Year’s resolution off on the right foot with the Town of Cary’s New Year, New You: Fitness Kick Off from January 2-8 and take free group exercise classes at Cary’s community centers. Grab your walking shoes, family members and friends and take a healthy walk on January 1 from 10-11 a.m. for the 2019 First Walk at White Oak Creek Greenway. Members of the Greenways Committee and the Cary Teen Council will guide walkers through the adventure. Parking is available at White Oak Park. Then from January 2-8, participants age 16 and older (unless otherwise indicated) can take free group exercise classes at Cary’s community centers: Bond ParkHerb Young, Middle Creek and new this year, The Hive and Cary Senior Center!  For the full list of free demo classes, visit New Year, New You.  

Those who attend a group exercise demonstration will receive a 20 percent discount on their Winter/Spring 2019 registration for any group exercise class at a Town of Cary community center. Coupons expire January 12, 2019 and are only redeemable in person at a Town of Cary community center.
