Cary to Present First Look at the Future of Downtown Park

  • The Town of Cary will present key takeaways from this summer’s public workshop and alternative designs and features for the Downtown Park project on Tuesday, November 27 at 6 p.m. at Cary Town Hall.
  • Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback and speak directly with the Office of James Burnett design team.
  • More than 300 people attended the public workshop in July 2018 and more than 1,200 people responded to the Phase II survey in the period that followed.

Cary, NC – Join us at Cary Town Hall on Tuesday, November 27 to see exciting ideas for a world-class park in Downtown Cary. Beginning at 6 p.m., the Town of Cary along with the Office of James Burnett design team will discuss key takeaways from this summer’s public workshop and present alternative designs and features for the park. Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback and speak directly with the Office of James Burnett Design Team. Cary Town Hall is located at 316 N. Academy St.

More than 300 people attended the public workshop in July 2018 and more than 1,200 responded to the Phase II survey in the period that followed. Prior to the workshop, The Town of Cary hired the Office of James Burnett (OJB Landscape Architecture), an award-winning landscape architecture firm with national urban parks and development experience. Their past project experience includes Klyde Warren Park, Dallas TX, Levy Park in Houston TX, and LeBaur Park, Greensboro, NC.
