Friday, November 9

Cary Fall Futures (NC L5) 
Cary Tennis Park 5 – 9 p.m.
Calling all beginner, junior tennis players – we’ve got a great tournament for you! The Cary Fall Futures is a fun way to get tournament experience all while having a blast.  If you don’t have a player, we invite you to come watch and cheer on the players as they are out there playing a game they enjoy!  You will be inspired to pick up a racquet too!  For more, visit Cary Tennis Park or call 462-2061.

Marvelous Music Mainstage Series presents Huu Bac Quintet 
Cary Arts Center, 7:30 p.m.
Of Vietnamese origin, Huu Bac Quach skillfully combines Vietnamese and Chinese musical sounds with North American jazz. Surrounded by skilled musicians, he thrills audiences with his mastery of the dan bau (Vietnamese monochord), the erhu (Chinese fiddle), the quena (Andean flute), and the guitar. Cary's Veterans Day Observance
Veterans Freedom Park 3-4 p.m.
Join us for a ceremony in observance of those who have served our country featuring speakers from the Town of Cary and local armed forces community support groups.  Free parking (regular and handicap accessible) will be available at Cary Academy (1500 N. Harrison Ave.), which is located across the street from the Veterans Freedom Park. There will be a handicap accessible shuttle running from Cary Academy's parking lot to the event at Veterans Freedom Park.  A police provided crosswalk will also be available to those who wish to walk from the parking lot instead of taking the shuttle.
