Traffic Alert - Cary Parkway/High House Road
- Weather permitting, on September 4 between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. contractors working on behalf of the Town of Cary will perform work along southbound NW Cary Parkway and westbound High House Road that will close two driveways: one near Mellow Mushroom and the other near Wells Fargo.
- Businesses will remain accessible.
- This work will be completed as the Town moves into the second phase of the Cary Parkway and High House Road Intersection Improvement Project, during which dual left turn lanes at three approaches will be constructed.
Cary, NC – Weather permitting, contractors working on behalf of the Town of Cary will close a driveway along southbound NW Cary Parkway near Mellow Mushroom and a driveway along westbound High House Road near Wells Fargo between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. September 4; businesses in the area will remain accessible. This work will be completed as the Town moves into the second phase of the Cary Parkway and High House Road Intersection Improvement Project. During phase two, dual left turn lanes at three approaches will be constructed.
, throughout phase two, one or more lanes of travel in each direction of Cary Parkway and High House Road near the intersection may be closed to safely facilitate the improvements. Drivers should anticipate daytime lane closures from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; nighttime lane closures from 6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday; and lane closures all day Saturday through 6 a.m. Sunday. All businesses near that intersection will be open and accessible.
