Snow in the Forecast as Cary’s Bond Park Transforms into Winter Wonderland
New this year: under 5 sessions and birthday party options
- Register now for the Town’s annual Winter Wonderland at Bond Park January 26-27; non-Cary citizens can register beginning December 18.
- Sign up for a 45-minute snow tube session, or book a group option.

Cary, NC –Snow is in the forecast for Cary’s Bond Park at the Town’s annual Winter Wonderland on January 26—27 and no snowplows are allowed. Participants are invited to enjoy manmade snow and take advantage of a special snow tubing adventure during a series of 45-minute sessions. New this year, a special parent-child session is available on Saturday for those younger than 5 who would like to tube with a parent (no older siblings); the fee is $35 per pair. Snow tubing for single riders is $19 and limited to ages 5 and up. Snow tubing areas are available for varied skill levels; registered parents are welcome to assist their children as needed. Snow tubes are provided.
“In addition to our new age-restricted session for those under 5, we’re excited also offer a group experience for up to 15 people,” said Tracey Filomena, Town of Cary Program Specialist. Group registration is available at any session, space permitting, and is $299; register the group in person at Bond Park Community Center.
Winter Wonderland registration is now open for Cary citizens, and non-Cary citizens can register beginning on December 18. Register in person at any community center or on-line using EZ-REG Web. Pre- registration is required; no walk-up registration will be available.
