Cary, NC – Rock and country music will combine with food and drinks for the final Cary Live concert of the season on September 23 from 7-9 p.m. in Cary’s Downtown Park at 319 S. Academy St. The event is free and open to the public. Melodime will provide live music that merges country twang and rock and roll throughout the night. Bond Brothers and Bull City Ciderworks will be onsite selling beer and cider, and there will be food from Flattz Signature Flat Breads and Morfa Empanadas for sale.

“The first season of Cary Live has been a huge success,” said Ryan O’Quinn, program specialist for outdoor events. “The music, the food, the atmosphere, it’s all been great. We want to thank everyone who came out to the first Cary Live and hope even more people will join us on September 23.”

Parking is available in downtown Cary on the street and in the parking lot at Cary Elementary School as well as the public library. Accessible parking is available at the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave. In support of the event, South Academy Street will be closed between Dry Avenue and Charlie Gaddy Lane from 5-10:30 p.m. Those looking for alternative routes may use South Harrison Avenue or South Walker Street.

Pets on a leash are allowed. A limited number of chairs will be provided, but citizens are encouraged to bring their own if they want to be sure to have a seat. Cary Live events occur rain or shine; in the event of inclement weather, concert goers can visit for the latest programming information.
