Middle Creek Community Center Giving Fall Sneak Preview

Cary, N.C. – Ever wanted to get the inside scoop on a Town of Cary class or activity before signing up? Now’s your chance as the Middle Creek Community Center, 123 Middle Creek Park Ave., holds its second annual fall open house on August 27 from 4-6 p.m. Program instructors will be on hand to answer questions and demo their classes; staff will help participants register for the ones that fit them best. A 20 percent discount will be given for signing up for Middle Creek Community Center classes in person during the open house.
Participating instructors will be available for the following classes: Fencing, basketball skills class, LEGO® workshops, DanceIt, yoga, cake decorating, ACT Math, preschool soccer, Mad Science, hooping, preschool learning, Country Heat line dancing, college prep courses, Tang Soo Do, fitness, youth dance, and gymnastics. In 2016, more than 200 citizens attended the first fall open house at MCCC, registering for more than 130 classes. Parking is available at the community center or general parking areas.
Middle Creek Community Center, located within Middle Creek School and park, provides opportunities for citizens to engage in their community through fitness classes, recreation activities, camps, athletic programs and other events. Regular hours of operation are 9 a.m.-10 p.m. on Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, and 1-6 p.m. on Sunday (closed on Sunday April through October). The community center is available for rent for private events and is within walking distance of the Middle Creek Disc Golf Course.
