Historic Preservation Commission Field Trip

A quorum of the Historic Preservation Commission will be attending a field trip to become familiar with three Town-owned historic properties so that Historic Preservation Commission members can provide input/ideas on the future use of these properties to staff who are managing the Town's Historic Structures Assessment Project. 9:00 a.m. - Leave Town campus from the parking area behind the Page-Walker Arts and History Center.
9:15 a.m. – Arrive at the c. 1840 Barnabus Jones Farmstead, 9701 Penny Road, located next to the Jack Smith Park.
10:15 a.m. – Arrive at the c. 1916 C.F. Ferrell Store and Warehouses, 1928 Morrisville-Carpenter Road
11:00 a.m. – Arrive at the c. 1910 A.M. Howard Farm (circa 1910), currently operated as Good Hope Farm, 1580 Morrisville-Carpenter Road
11:45 a.m. – Arrive back at Town Campus
