MLK Day of Service

Spend part of your Martin Luther King Day helping the local food system and supporting native wildlife at the annual Martin Luther King Day of Service event, part of the Town of Cary Dreamfest celebration.

Together we will prepare our urban agriculture site, Good Hope Farm, for spring planting. Typical tasks include shoveling mulch, using wheelbarrows, and spreading cardboard all in a supportive group setting. Good Hope Farm supports new farmers and connects Cary to healthy local food in partnership with the Town and local nonprofits, and is located at 1580 Morrisville Carpenter Road.

Two volunteer shifts are available: 10 a.m.-noon and 2-4 p.m. More details will be provided via email after registration.
