100 MILE RUN ENDS IN PRICEVILLE

PRINCEVILLE, NC – Princeville officials will welcome Lansing Brewer to Princeville when he arrives on Sunday, December 19 completing his "Christmas Across the Carolinas" run from Dillon, SC to Princeville to raise money to rebuild the town. Town officials and residents will be on hand in front of Old Town Hall starting at 2:00 PM preparing for his arrival, which is expected to be at 4:00 PM. Santa Claus will be distributing toys donated by the Mayseville Fire Department between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. After the official welcome and a candlelight ceremony in memory of those who died due to the flooding from Floyd, participants will proceed to the bridge linking Tarboro and Princeville for lighting of the holiday luminaries.
