CARY POLICE HAVE VIDEO OF "HAIRSPRAY ROBBERY" SUSPECT

CARY, NC – The Town of Cary’s Police Department is asking for your help in locating a man answering the description of an armed robbery suspect who may have been caught on videotape attempting to purchase pepper spray from a local grocery store. If the video is correct, the white male suspect entered a Cary Food Lion just before committing an armed robbery of the Subway at 921 North Harrison Avenue at 10:15 PM on November 17th.

During the robbery, the suspect entered the sandwich shop, approached the counter, and sprayed the clerk with an aerosol spray, possibly hairspray. The employee fled the building, and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register. The suspect is 5’6"-5’8" tall, medium build, 30-36 years old with shoulder-length brown hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a camouflage jacket.

Cary Crimestoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the identification and apprehension of the individual responsible for this crime.
