NEW CARY YOUTH THEATER TROOP
PRESENTS FIRST PERFOMANCE

CARY, NC – Twenty-five of Cary’s most talented young people will bring youth theater alive this weekend as they launch the new Cary Youth Theater group, Applause. For their inaugural show, Applause will present three performances of the timeless classic Charlotte’s Web in the Cary Academy Fine Arts Center located at 1500 N. Harrison Avenue in Cary. Shows will be on Friday, November 19th at 7:30 PM and on Saturday, November 20th at 3:00 PM and at 7:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Page-Walker Arts & History Center, Jordan Hall Arts Center, the Cary Community Center, or at the Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Administrative Office.

The price for children is $3.00, adults, $5.00.

"We’re so happy that Cary can finally offer a youth theater experience to the community," said Town of Cary Cultural Arts Division Director, Lyman Collins. "Applause would not be a reality if it weren’t for the support of the Cary Town Council and the generosity of our community’s volunteers."

Supported by the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department of the Town of Cary, the newly formed youth theater group has been in rehearsal since October. Interested volunteers, both children and adults, are encouraged to get involved with this and all future productions by calling the Town of Cary at 469-4061.
