The Cary Town Council will fill a total of 25 positions on seven Town citizen advisory boards and commissions in late January for service to begin on February 1, 2000. All appointments will be for 3-year terms, except where unexpired terms are being filled. Membership will be selected from Cary's corporate limits and, in the case of one board, its extraterritorial jurisdiction. Learn more about each group and get an application to serve by visiting the Town’s website at www.townofcary.org or by stopping by the Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall, 316 N. Academy Street in Cary. The new deadline is 5:00 PM Friday, January 7, 2000.
