SEARCH FOR TWO MEN IN TRIO
OF OVERNIGHT ARMED ROBBERIES
CARY, NC Cary Police are looking for two men responsible for three armed robberies committed overnight in southeast Cary. The robberies occurred at 10:25 PM Sunday night at Homewood Suites at 100 McAlyson Ct., at 10:41 PM Sunday night at the LaQuinta Inn at 191 Crescent Commons Drive, and at 2:27 AM Monday at the Handee Hugos convenience store at 102 Gregson Drive. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from LaQuinta and Handee Hugos. The clerk at the Homewood Suites was hurt when he ran to a back office and jumped through a glass window to escape. He sustained several serious injuries and is currently being treated at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.
In the two hotel cases, a lone man entered the establishment, asked the employee a few basic questions, and left. He returned a few minutes later brandishing a shotgun and demanding money. In the case of the convenience store, he asked the questions and then another man entered with the shotgun.
The suspects are described as black males. One is 20-23 years old, about 6 tall, 180-200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black toboggon with a yellow stripe, black sweater, faded black, baggy jeans, and brown work boots. The other suspect is in his mid twenties, 57"-510" tall, wearing a red T-shirt, and baggy pants with pockets. One of the two suspects may have been wearing a ball cap with the letter "P" on it. This man may have worn a dark shirt over a white T-shirt.
The suspects may be driving a dark, late 1980's-early 1990s Honda automobile, possibly an Accord or a Prelude. They are considered to be armed and dangerous.
