Doggies to
compete for chance at World Frisbee Championship
CARY,
NC – There will be a whole lot of
barking going on at Cary’s Fred G. Bond Metro Park, 801 High House Road,
during the Dog Days of June from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.; the event will offer
rabies and micro-chipping for pets along with a variety of free activities that
every canine is sure to enjoy. Each year, the Town of

your canines out to the beautiful surroundings of Bond Park for a fun,
charitable event and an opportunity to meet up with local dog lovers in one
convenient location,” said Bond Park Supervisor Bill Eucker.
Eucker added that throughout the day, all pets must be on a leash no
longer than 6 feet unless competing in the Frisbee competition.
During
the Dog Day Afternoon, guests can enjoy live music, face painting, participate
in the "Wag'n Trail" Charity Dog Walk, compete in a dog/owner look
alike contest or try their luck at the charity raffle to benefit SPCA of Wake
County. There will also be an
opportunity to check out dogs available for adoption.
