APPLY NOW FOR CARY ’S NEW ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY BOARD

Help advise the Cary Town Council on environmental protection and “going green” initiatives by becoming a member of the Town’s newly created environmental board.  Citizens interested in volunteering may apply now through May 23.  Nine members will be appointed by the Cary Town Council at their regular meeting on June 12, 2008 ; five members will be at-large while the remaining four will serve as “technical experts” or “partners”.  Beginning in July 2008, the Board will meet biweekly for three months and monthly thereafter.  For applications and more, visit Boards and Commissions at www.townofcary.org.
