CSX TO BEGIN RAILROAD IMPROVEMENTS IN CARY

Expect detours and possible delays at four intersections

CSX Railroad plans to replace crossties and resurface tracks within Cary Town limits from Monday, April 7 through Friday, April 11.  Railroad crossings on North Dixon Avenue, Old Apex Road, Laura Duncan Road, and High House Road are expected to close for two to three days at each crossing while the track is being improved; detours will be posted.  As part of the work, crews will lay down rock ballast and adjust the track on the roadbed to assure that the track is straight and level.  For more, contact CSX at 1-877-TELLCSX.
