CARY WATER CUSTOMERS REMINDED OF ALTERNATE DAY WATERING

DURING HIGH TEMPERATURES

With the hot, dry summer weather now upon us, Town of Cary utility customers – including those in Morrisville – are asked to remember Cary’s "Recipe 4 Success" by only watering outdoors as needed and always according to the Alternate Day Watering schedule:

• Odd Street Addresses: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

• Even Street Addresses: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday

• Handwatering is allowed any day of the week.

• No automated irrigation, including hose and sprinkler connections, on Mondays.

Keep in mind that watering on all three of an address’ designated days is probably not necessary since well established turf can survive up to three weeks without water.  If you choose to water, please consider doing so in the early morning to minimize water loss from evaporation.
